A great turn out of over 50 athletes with a whole bunch of new kids along to take part in the free kids 1500m race. They kids were led around by bike marhsal Jason fitzgearld and Aoifee with parents running alongside Irelands futures stars.

 

A speedy Dylan Coughlan stole the win ahead of young Darragh O Neil. Well done to all the Dashers and we cant wait to awards the medals next week at the final of the kids run series

The main event.

In the main event of the night the 5km, their was some serious running prowess with Limerick AC Paul Fitzgearld alongside St.Johns David Brew we knew we had some seriously quick runners and the race also marked the return of one of Ennis Tracks greats. A certain Mr.Murphy was out and about to test his form.

In the ladies Field Ennis tracks Becky Coughlan was back and after winning last years series she was out to test her form, Sarah Boland has improved a huge amount over the last 12 months and it was not going to be easy for any of the ladies to take the win.

A big thank you to young Karl Fitzmaurice who came along to pace the 25min group – we always appreciate the pacers
